Wow- we had a full filled day. This morning we woke up and made colored pancakes. As I was flipping the pancakes, I turned around to find Makaela's mouth and face green. She had sucked up all the green food coloring. What a scene, thus we were forced to move on to making purple pancakes. Then we headed to the waterpark to hang out with the Martins. Makaela and Abby had a great time going down the slides, running around and finally cruizing down the lazy river.
From there we headed down to Kapiolani Hospital to meet the newest member of the Buelow family: little Dylan. He looks so much like Gavin did, it's amazing. The hospital room was packed and Makaela got to hang out with Gavin, Zack, Jackson and Dylan.
After the hospital visit, we headed down to Chuck's for Makaela's birthday dinner after we opened up some gifts. She loves to see the koi fish there and we love the food, so it was a perfect choice. We finished the evening singing "Happy Birthday" and sharing Chuck's mud pie. Yum! Makaela passed out in the car on the way home from all the excitement.
