In Awe

I'm still in awe over the fact that Mia is finally here. Her pregnancy was such an experience, from finding out about the pregnancy in Italy, miscarriage scares, the split placenta and worrying about her development, Matt heading to Iraq days before her arrival and then her actual delivery. I find myself staring at her just amazed that she is actually here and is ours. Perhaps it's the idea that she is probably my last baby, but I just can't help staring at her and feeling this overwhelming sense of love and also, accomplishment.
