Today we headed out to the beach since we have been cooped up in the house all week. Makaela asked to go the turtle lagoon at Ko'olina so we headed there. My mom was a bit shocked to find out that there were actually large sea turtles swimming around (thus the name) and even more reluctant to enter the water with them swimming around, but Makaela charged in and showed her grandma how to be brave :-) The two had fun turtle watching.
Mia also seemed to enjoy the beach. She slept most of the time, but had such a pleasant smile on while she slept, we could only assume that she was enjoying herself.
