We had our gender party last night. We had many of our friends come over to reveal the baby's gender by cutting into a cake. If the inside of the cake was blue, it is a boy, if the inside of the cake was pink, we would be having a girl. Our fabulous cakemaker, Kristen, cooked the first cake but forgot to add the food coloring so we ended up having two cakes. When the two cakes were put on the table, people got all excited and immediately thought twins...hahaha. Here is video of everyone finding out the gender. We also shared the two names we are considering. Makaela also got her own "Big Sister" cake and she truly took advantage of it- grabbed a fork and dug into the entire cake without sharing it with anyone. We are so lucky to be surrounded by so many great "aunties", "uncles" and "cousins".
