Elevators and Sandcastles

Today we started out by heading to the farmer's market. On the way out, the kids got into a bit of mischief. Tommy let him and Makaela out of the hotel room and the two kids sprinted down the hallway. From the doorway I heard Michelle yell at the kids "Don't you run down that hallway...don't you press that elevator button...DON'T YOU GET INTO THAT ELEVATOR!!" The kids were giggling the entire time even as the elevator doors closed with them inside the elevator. Michelle went running down the staircase where she waited for the elevator to open. When it did, no kids got out. She asked around and some guest said, "Two kids got off on the second floor". Panicked, Michelle headed back to the stairway when she heard Makaela say, "Auntie, we are up here". The kids were looking down at her from the 2nd story staircase still giggling away. Ahh, kids will be kids.
Once we got to the market, the kids got matching glass bead necklaces and we got some fresh veggies to grill up for dinner. After lunch we headed to the beach at Princeville for some more water, sandcastles and sunset.
The kids were exhausted again and so cute as they cuddled up in bed.
