Makaela and Mia both had Valentine's parties at school today so for the past week, Makaela has been making her Valentine's for her friends. I was pretty proud of her. Matt and I went out for a quick Valentine's brunch while my mom babysat Madi. Matt had to work the night shift and heading out to eat before the crowds was not too bad of an idea. I wish I could write that we had some fun, romantic morning, but after eating, we came home and I ended up passing out- that was a pretty great gift in and of itself. I tried to get some pictures of the girls, but Madi was all I could manage and even she wasn't being overly cooperative with the photo shoot.
