Home with Mia

Mia has been sick again.  I am starting to suspect the whole theory about breastfed babies being healthier is horribly inaccurate. Mia started running a fever and I was faced with a bit of a dilemma: Mia needed to stay home to recuperate, but Madi wasn't supposed to come in contact with anyone who was sick.  Try telling a sick 2 year old not to go near the baby...yeah, that was successful.  Luckily she got sick the same day we had a weight check for Madi, so I called the doctor and told her I was bringing Mia in as well.  Mia was checked for RSV and luckily, she didn't have it, nor did she have any other virus. She had a simple cold (although there is nothing simple about it) and we just had to let it run its course.  Mia is a great sick kid though; all she wants to do is lie on the couch and watch tv and nap.  Leila and Bailey were Mia's little nurses- they hardly left her side and I think they liked having someone to cuddle up with.
