Matt's Going Away Party

Today we had a going away party for Matt at Nimitz Beach. A lot of people showed up and both Matt and I were touched at all the people who came out to see him off. The kids entertained themselves with wagon rides and playing in the sand while the adults entertained themselves with horseshoes and beer-in-hand wiffleball. We are so lucky to have so many supportive friends. Matt's absence is going to be tough on everyone, but knowing that Makaela and I (and Mia) are surrounded by such great people, helps immensely.
