On our last day in Oklahoma, Matt and I decided to go car shopping to "check" out some possibilities so we could make a quick decision on car buying once we got to Jacksonville. That plan soon changed and Matt decided he would drive the new car from OK to FL with all the Christmas gifts we received and also the dogs. We were car shopping all day long and while we loved some newer cars, my fear of not having a job was a deterant (especially since I'm not quite sure how we will pay for it :-) We chose a GMC Acadia with a 3rd row.
Our plan of Matt driving the dogs, didn't pan out since our belongings packed out the entire car and keeping them in a hotel didn't seem like a good idea either. Matt dropped me and the girls off at the airport and the three of us flew (alone again) to JAX where we had one night together in an airport hotel before Matt got to FL to pick us up.
