Makaela was so stoked for New Years Eve because she knew there was going to be a party,
knew she was going to see all her friends, but had no idea why no one was getting presents at this party :-) Heidi and Mike had people over to celebrate and watch the fireworks from their home in Makakilo. This is the last year fireworks will be legal on the island, so in true Hawaiian spirit, 2010 went out with a bang (literally). The sky was lit up with beautiful fireworks all night long. The kids actually made it to ring in the New Year with the adults and got to enjoy the firework show along with us.
