Disney MGM

Today we went to Disney/MGM Theater Park. The adults ran off to go on the new Aerosmith rollercoaster (and all came back raving about it) while the girls and I people watched. After that, we saw a stage production of Beauty and the Beast (both girls couldn't take their eyes off the stage), then watched a Pixar parade (which Mia bounced the entire time to) and then watched the Little Mermaid show. Makaela loved how it rained in the theater. Then it was time for more character pictures and Makaela was extremely happy to see Jake was there (her new favorite show). I think she has a small crush on him.

Handy Manny was also there.

Then it was off for more face painting. Matt took Mia while Joe and I took Makaela on the Star Wars ride. She just made height, so we were excited for her to experience it. When we got in, the "authorities" said that our "ship" was harboring a spy and the video just so happened to land on my brother Joey, so his face was on the screen as the spy they were after. Makaela got so upset and started asking him, "What did you do Uncle Doe? Why are they after you?" During the ride she kept yelling because they were after us. When the ride was over and we were walking to meet Matt, they had a little Star Wars show going on with Jedi and Starship Troopers and she freaked out, saying that the bad guys were going to get Joe. Hysterical!! I don't think she enjoyed that ride as much as we had hoped she would.
